Darrin Nelson carried the ball for a team-best 642 yards for Minnesota.

The larcenous defense led the way with 48 turnovers. John Turner and John Swain each snatched 6 opponent throws. Doug Martin topped the defensive unit with 13 quarterback sacks.

Bud Grant coached the team.
