The Miami Dolphins of the American Football League ended the 1966 season with a record of 3 wins and 11 losses, finishing fourth in the AFL's East Division.
The Dolphins eked out just 213 points, and the defense allowed 362. Dick Wood passed for 993 yards, and George Wilson spent time under center, too. Dave Kocourek paced pass catchers, hauling in 27 passes, while Bo Roberson accumulated 519 receiving yards, while Joe Auer contributed to the receiving game as well.
Joe Auer ran for a team-best 416 yards for Miami.
The sticky-fingered defense led the way with 46 turnovers, topping in the league. Willie West picked off 8 errant tosses from the opposition.
George Wilson coached the team.
