Greg Landry passed for 1,072 yards, and Bill Munson spent time under center, too. Charlie Sanders hauled in 40 balls for 544 yards, while Larry Walton contributed to the receiving game as well.
The opportunistic defense manufactured 44 turnovers, topping in the league. Dick LeBeau picked off 9 opponent throws.
