Offensively, Winnipeg paced the league with 385 points. At the same time, the solid defense allowed 291 points. Leo Lewis rushed for a team-high 865 yards for the Blue Bombers, and Roger Hagberg also contributed to the rushing attack.
Kenny Ploen threw for 2,097 yards. Ernie Pitts caught 62 balls for 865 yards. Leo Lewis was targeted regularly as well.
Jack Delveaux, Dick Thornton and Henry Janzen each intercepted 4 opponent throws.
Bud Grant coached the team. The 1962 Winnipeg Blue Bombers won the Grey Cup.
