The Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League ended the 1983 season with a record of 12 wins and 4 losses for 24 points, finishing first in the CFL's East Division. The team compiled a postseason mark of 2-0.
The Argonauts scored only 334 points, worst in the league, and the solid defense conceded 358. Condredge Holloway passed for 3,184 yards, and Joe Barnes spent time under center, too. Terry Greer paced the receiving corps, snagging 113 passes for 2,003 yards, while Emanuel Tolbert contributed to the receiving game also.
Cedric Minter carried the ball for a team-best 599 yards for Toronto.
Ken McEachern intercepted 5 opponent throws. Rick Mohr topped the defensive unit with 15.5 quarterback sacks.
Bob O'Billovich coached the team. The 1983 Toronto Argonauts won the Grey Cup.
