Toronto moved the ball well, scoring 329 points, while the defensive squad allowed 290. Don Jonas tossed for 2,041 yards, and Tom Wilkinson took a significant amount of snaps, too. Jim Thorpe snagged 43 passes for 671 yards, while Mel Profit was targeted regularly as well.
Bill Symons carried the pigskin for a team-best 908 yards for the Argonauts, and Dave Raimey also aided the ground game.
Dick Aldridge intercepted 7 opponent throws.
