The Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League ended the 2009 season with a record of 15 wins and 3 losses for 30 points, finishing first in the CFL's East Division. The team compiled a postseason mark of 2-0.

On offense, the Alouettes led the league with 600 points. Defensively, Montreal relinquished 324 points, fewest in the league. Anthony Calvillo led the charge, slinging for 4,639 yards. Ben Cahoon paced all receivers, grabbing 89 passes, while Kerry Watkins accumulated 1,243 receiving yards. Jamel Richardson contributed to the receiving game also.

Avon Cobourne carried the ball for a team-best 1,214 yards.

The opportunistic defense led the way with 63 turnovers, topping in the league. Jerald Brown and Matthieu Proulx each picked off 4 opponent throws. John Bowman topped pass rushers with 11 quarterback sacks, leading the way for a team which created 42 sacks.

Marc Trestman coached the team. The 2009 Montreal Alouettes won the Grey Cup.
