The Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League ended the 1959 season with a record of 10 wins and 4 losses for 20 points, finishing first in the CFL's Interprovincial Rugby Football Union. The team compiled a postseason mark of 1-2.
The defense proved to be a force, as the Tiger-Cats surrendered 162 points, lowest in the league. Hamilton netted 298 points. Bernie Faloney threw for 2,187 yards. Paul Dekker grabbed 35 receptions, while Ron Howell contributed 624 receiving yards. Tommy Grant provided receiving help, too.
Gerry McDougall carried the ball for a team-high 1,010 yards.
Ralph Goldston intercepted 9 opponent throws.
Jim Trimble coached the team. The 1959 Hamilton Tiger-Cats lost in the Grey Cup.
