Defensively, the Eskimos topped the circuit with just 246 points allowed. Edmonton scored 241 points. Jim Thomas ran for a team-best 849 yards, and Thurmos Butler also aided the ground game.
Corey Colehour threw for 1,947 yards. Jim Thomas paced all receivers, snagging 46 passes for 505 yards. Terry Swarn and Al Irwin contributed to the receiving game as well.
The sticky-fingered defense created 57 turnovers. John Wydareny intercepted 11 errant tosses from the opposition.
Neill Armstrong coached the team.
