Calgary managed just 221 points, worst in the league, while the shaky defensive squad surrendered 413. Norbert Wirkowski threw for 1,736 yards. Jack Gotta led pass catchers, grabbing 39 receptions for 652 yards. Dean Renfro was targeted regularly, too.
Al Valdes carried the ball for a team-high 553 yards for the Stampeders, while Howie Waugh also contributed to the rushing attack.
