2005 BC Lions Results
The BC Lions of the Canadian Football League ended the 2005 season with a record of 12 wins and 6 losses for 24 points, finishing first in the CFL's West Division. The team compiled a postseason mark of 0-1.
BC piled up points with 550 points, while the defense surrendered 444. Dave Dickenson led the charge, slinging for 3,338 yards, and Casey Printers played quarterback also. Geroy Simon topped all receivers, grabbing 89 passes for 1,322 yards. Antonio Warren, Ryan Thelwell and Jason Clermont each provided receiving help as well.
Antonio Warren carried the ball for a team-leading 983 yards for the Lions.
Barron Miles picked off 6 opponent throws. Brent Johnson paced pass rushers with 17 quarterback sacks, topping a defense credited with 46 sacks.
Wally Buono coached the team. The 2005 BC Lions lost in the Division Final.
