The Lions managed just 100 points, worst in the league, and the leaky defense yielded 345, most in the circuit. Gerry Tuttle tossed for 991 yards, and John Mazur took a significant amount of snaps, too. Dick Christiansen topped all receivers, grabbing 41 passes for 545 yards.
Al Pollard carried the ball for a team-leading 431 yards for BC, while Byron Bailey also buoyed the ground attack.
Neil Ferris picked off 5 opponent throws.
