The defense proved to be a force, as the Bills topped the circuit with just 226 points allowed. Buffalo scored 313 points. Jack Kemp threw for 2,368 yards. Bo Roberson topped all receivers, hauling in 31 balls for 483 yards. Paul Costa and Billy Joe were targeted regularly also.
Wray Carlton rushed for a team-leading 592 yards.
The sticky-fingered defense created 57 turnovers, best in the league. Hagood Clarke intercepted 7 opponent throws.
Lou Saban coached the team. The 1965 Buffalo Bills won the Championship.
