The Rockets scored 8,070 points and allowed 7,742. Yao Ming tossed in a team-best 1,514 points for Houston, while Metta World Peace netted 16 or more per game also. Yao Ming racked up 761 boards. Rafer Alston dished out 258 assists for the squad.

On the defensive side of the ball, Metta World Peace added 105 thefts, and Yao Ming rejected 150 opposing shots.
