Coaching Career

Don Nelson averaged 10.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game in his 1053-game career with the Boston Celtics, Chicago Zephyrs and Los Angeles Lakers. He began playing during the 1962-63 season and last took the court during the 1975-76 campaign. Nelson was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2012.
