Coaching Career

Dick McGuire averaged 8.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game in his 738-game career with the Detroit Pistons and New York Knicks. He began playing during the 1949-50 season and last took the court during the 1959-60 campaign. McGuire was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1993.
