Coaching Career
Bobby McDermott averaged 11.1 points per game in his 468-game career with the Baltimore Clippers, Brooklyn Jewels, Brooklyn Visitations, Chicago American Gears, Chicago Gears, Fort Wayne Zollner Pistons, Grand Rapids Hornets, Hammond Calumet Buccaneers, Sheboygan Red Skins, Tri-Cities Blackhawks and Wilkes-Barre Barons. He began playing during the 1934-35 season and last took the court during the 1950-51 campaign. McDermott was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1988.
