The Washington Senators of the American League ended the 1924 season with a record of 92 wins and 62 losses, finishing first in the AL.
The Senators topped the league with just 613 runs allowed. Washington scored 755 runs. Goose Goslin paced the squad with 12 home runs and drove in 129 runs, while leading batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .344 clip. Walter Johnson recorded 23 wins on the mound for the squad, plus Tom Zachary and George Mogridge, too added 15 or more wins, too Walter Johnson registered a 2.72 earned run average, tops among regularly-used pitchers.
Bucky Harris coached the team. The 1924 Washington Senators won the World Series.
