The Blue Jays paced the league with just 622 runs allowed. Toronto scored 684 runs. Joe Carter walloped 33 home runs for the squad, while Devon White, Kelly Gruber and John Olerud each swatted 20 or more, too. Joe Carter drove in 108 runs. Roberto Alomar topped all regular batters by hitting .295. Jimmy Key led the team with 16 wins, plus Todd Stottlemyre and David Wells, too added 15 or more wins, too Tom Candiotti recorded a 2.98 ERA, tops among regularly-used pitchers.
