The Rangers plated 928 runs and gave up 799 runs. Juan Gonzalez walloped 47 home runs for Texas, while Kevin Elster, Mickey Tettleton, Rusty Greer, Dean Palmer and Ivan Rodriguez each added 20 or more also. Juan Gonzalez drove in 144 runs. Rusty Greer led all qualifying hitters on the roster with a .332 average. Bobby Witt and Ken Hill topped the team with 16 wins each, plus Roger Pavlik, too contributed 15 or more wins, too Ken Hill earned a 3.63 ERA, leading regularly-used pitchers.
