Tom Seaver earned 25 wins on the mound for the team, while Jerry Koosman added 15 or more wins, too Tom Seaver recorded a 2.21 ERA, best among regularly-used pitchers.

Gil Hodges coached the team. The 1969 New York Mets won the World Series.
