Mickey Mantle walloped 34 home runs for the team, while Bill Skowron, Hank Bauer and Yogi Berra each swatted 20 or more as well. Mickey Mantle drove in 94 runs and topped batters with significant playing time by hitting .365. Tom Sturdivant led the team with 16 wins, and Bobby Shantz recorded a 2.45 ERA, best among regularly-used pitchers.
