The Yankees scored 914 runs and allowed 691 runs. Joe DiMaggio walloped 32 home runs for New York, while Yogi Berra and Johnny Mize swatted 20 or more also. Yogi Berra drove in 124 runs. Phil Rizzuto led all regular batters by hitting .324. Vic Raschi topped the squad with 21 wins, and Allie Reynolds, Tommy Byrne and Eddie Lopat each, too added 15 or more wins, too Eddie Lopat recorded a 3.47 ERA, tops among regularly-used pitchers.
Casey Stengel coached the team. The 1950 New York Yankees won the World Series.
