The Yankees led the league with just 631 runs allowed. New York scored 830 runs. Charlie Keller walloped 33 home runs for the squad, while Tommy Henrich, Joe DiMaggio and Joe Gordon each swatted 20 or more, too. Joe DiMaggio drove in 125 runs and topped all regular hitters by hitting .357. Lefty Gomez and Red Ruffing paced the team with 15 wins each, and Tiny Bonham recorded a 2.98 ERA, best among regularly-used pitchers.
Joe McCarthy coached the team. The 1941 New York Yankees won the World Series.
