The Giants scored 635 runs, most in the league. New York conceded 457 runs, the lowest total in the circuit. Dave Robertson paced the team with 12 home runs Heinie Zimmerman accounted for 102 RBI. Benny Kauff led batters with significant playing time by hitting .308. Ferdie Schupp topped the squad with 21 wins, while Rube Benton, Pol Perritt and Slim Sallee each, too added 15 or more wins, too Fred Anderson recorded a 1.44 ERA, tops among regularly-used pitchers.
