The Tigers topped the league with 693 runs, powered by 11 home runs. Detroit allowed 531 runs. Ty Cobb recorded 119 runs batted in and topped all regular batters by hitting .350. Ed Killian and Bill Donovan apiece recorded 25 wins on the mound for the team, while George Mullin and Ed Siever added 15 or more victories also Ed Killian recorded a 1.78 ERA, best among regularly-used pitchers.
