The Redlegs scored 761 runs and surrendered 684 runs. Ted Kluszewski walloped 47 home runs for Cincinnati, while Wally Post, Gus Bell and Smoky Burgess each added 20 or more as well. Ted Kluszewski accounted for 113 RBI and topped all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .314 clip. Joe Nuxhall led the team with 17 wins, and Johnny Klippstein earned a 3.39 ERA, best among regularly-used pitchers.
