The Redlegs tallied 729 runs and surrendered 763 runs. Ted Kluszewski walloped 49 home runs for Cincinnati, while Gus Bell, Jim Greengrass and Wally Post each added 20 or more as well. Ted Kluszewski accounted for 141 RBI and topped all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .326 clip. Art Fowler, Joe Nuxhall and Corky Valentine led the squad with 12 wins each, and Art Fowler recorded a 3.83 ERA, leading regularly-used pitchers.
