The Orioles paced the league with 792 runs. Baltimore surrendered 574 runs, fewest in the league. Boog Powell walloped 35 home runs for the team, while Brooks Robinson, Paul Blair, Frank Robinson, Don Buford and Merv Rettenmund each added 20 or more also. Boog Powell drove in 114 runs. Frank Robinson topped hitters with significant playing time by hitting .306. Mike Cuellar and Dave McNally apiece recorded 24 wins on the mound for the team, plus Jim Palmer, too contributed 15 or more wins, too Jim Palmer recorded a 2.71 ERA, best among regularly-used pitchers.
