The Cubs plated 657 runs and allowed 731 runs. Patrick Wisdom paced Chicago with 25 home runs, while Willson Contreras, Ian Happ and Christopher Morel each walloped 20 or more as well. Ian Happ recorded 72 runs batted in. Nico Hoerner led hitters with significant playing time with a .281 average. Keegan Thompson topped the squad with 10 wins, and Marcus Stroman registered a 3.50 earned run average, leading regularly-used pitchers.
